Welsh athlete Ramsey has increased the reward for leads regarding the vanished pet Halo to £15,000.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who currently plays for Pumas UNAM in the capital, revealed that Halo was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato area.
the dog, who disappeared on 9 October, was wearing a dog tracker collar, and the footballer published a exact coordinates of her last known location.
"Any sort of updates regarding our beloved Halo kindly contact us. Significant bounty for reuniting with her. We are all wishing she is unharmed and will return to our family shortly," the athlete wrote on social media.
Initial Bounty and Heartfelt Appeals
Ramsey initially revealed that his dog had gone missing 14 days prior and has subsequently uploaded numerous images of the adored pet on his social media account.
A £7.5k bounty was initially provided, but with absence of information on Halo's status after a week, the player and his family doubled the reward.
"We just want our pet home," he stated in a further request on social media after the 10-year-old dog was lost.
A recent image share is a monochrome snapshot of Halo sleeping, its head resting in the curve of the athlete's elbow, with the message: "How I wish to hold you one last time sweet Halo."
Household's Concerns and Background
Ramsey has additionally shared a statement from his wife Colleen on social media mentioning they have some "important queries" regarding the incident and are concerned the family "might not receive answers".
"We have yet to have not located our dog. It is unlikely we ever will," his wife's post expressed.
The Wales leader joined Mexican top-flight team Pumas UNAM recently and had his debut in Liga MX in August.
